About Brittany Stewart

Born and raised in Orangeville, ON, Brittany graduated from the Massage Therapy Program at Georgian College in Barrie, ON. Brittany has spent many years in Grey/Bruce county with family in Tara, Southampton, and spending time at the cottage in Tobermory. It was always a dream of hers and her husbands to live here one day, and that dream has finally come true with a home in Annan, ON. She enjoys spending time with family, swimming, and hiking with her husband, daughter and dog on her spare time. Brittany has been a Registered Massage Therapist since 2011, and is happy to have opened the doors of Sydenham Health And Wellness in 2020.

WHAT IS MASSAGE THERAPY?

Massage therapy is the manipulation of soft tissues of the body including, muscles, connective tissues, tendons, ligaments and joints. Massage Therapy is a clinically-oriented healthcare option that helps alleviate the discomfort associated with everyday and occupational stresses, muscular over-use and many chronic pain conditions.

Swedish Massage

Our most popular therapeutic massage type, the light to medium pressure helps relieve stress, reduce pain, boost mood and promote relaxation.

Pre-Natal Massage

Pre-Natal massage with the use of a certified pregnancy pillow safe to be treated during all trimesters of pregnancy.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue is similar to Swedish massage, but the technique focuses on the deepest layer of muscles to target knots (trigger points) and release chronic muscle tension.

Relaxation Massage

Relaxation massage is similar to Swedish massage, with lighter pressure and is meant for a more peaceful, de-stressing, calming type of treatment.
